” Through the opportunity of being a part of the Tanzanian Environmental Program with Students Partnership Worldwide I not only learnt about environmental issues that Tanzania faces I was also welcomed into their lives and leant more about people from such a different culture to my own then I could ever learn by travelling on my own. In having the experience of living in a village this program made me feel as though I was making a difference in my own life as well as in the lives of the people living in the village I was working in. This experience has inspired me to take a career path in the not-for-profit sector, with the goal of studying a Masters in International Development and working in this field.”

Michelle Lettie, Tanzania (CRP)
