Health Education Programmes are based on the argument that many diseases such as HIV/AIDS, are avoidable if only young people had access to basic information. Attached to rural schools and acting as peer educators,  volunteers present  important health issues to young people in an accessible way and encourage them to take action.

Community Resource Programmes focus on addressing the issues prioritised by rural schools and communities. This can range from ensuring the availability and long- term sustainability of community resources to introducing income-generating projects to help build a solid economic base for rural youth and their families.

The Community Resource Programme encompasses some Health Education activities as well.
