The 10 week peer educaiton program allows you to work with and empower local in and out of school youth. Volunteers get to work on activities that tackle the root causes of retention rate of girls in schools, HIV/AIDS and other basic health and sanitation issues.

Want to support Returned Volunteers?

One Village

One village is a not for profit organisaiton that was set up by former SPW Uganda volunteer Nikki Lovell, to provide education and aid programs in Namwendwa Village, Uganda.

"Truly, I've never known an approach from an NGO like this, who have the approach of going straight to the villagers, and living with them in this difficult environment. I would like to say, 'SPW, we need money', but this not a solution. SPW, do your best to give us knowledge like this, which will endure.''

Ibrahim Chang'a, villager, Kiwrere, Tanzania
